Section 5- Related Professional Development Objective(s)

Once you have outlined your student achievement goals, you are ready to start thinking about your professional development objectives. You may want to refer to section three where you formulated your needs-based question. In Mr. Gains' case, he asked "How can I increase the learning gains for the targeted group of students in my class scoring 40% or lower on the Main Idea portion of FCAT Reading?" Based on that question, Mr. Gains wrote what he needed to know and do in order to meet his stated student achievement goals.
