Section one of the IPDP includes the name of the teacher, administrator, and school. It also provides the IPDP's focus. The focus is important because it will influence all of the other sections of the form. The focus is essentially a description of the School Improvement Goal you have chosen for your professional development plan. It should not contain specific information about your professional goals or the acheivement of your students. Instead, it describes a school-wide goal as well as school-wide student achievement data.
