Focus Example

To write your IPDP focus based on the Reading goal you would select one of the three statements in the Needs Assessment portion and then combine it with its corresponding Objective. The example below was based on Reading Needs Assessment and Objective #1 of HCMS' SIP:

Writing your focus is not difficult. There are three key things to remember:

1. Select a school improvement goal
2. Select a needs assessment statement from your chosen SIP goal
3. Select an objective that corresponds with the needs assessment statement
