Your goals should include measurable results on specific assessments. This means that you should use “hard data" such as that obtained from the FCAT and teacher administered tests. Informal assessments are not as valuable as formal assessments for this purpose. You are also encouraged to use multiple data sources, if possible. Sometimes, teachers get a more accurate measurement of student achievement by offering multiple assessments of a particular skill. However, multiple assessments are not required.
